Gian Paolo Mazzoli is a conductor and was a lecturer in orchestral conducting at the “Luigi Boccherini” Conservatory in Lucca. He has conducted numerous opera and symphonic productions, collaborating with prestigious artists and theatres in Italy and abroad. 

His career combines extensive academic experience with a rich artistic career. Alongside his activity on the stage, he has for years been dedicated to teaching, overseeing projects aimed at young conductors, educational orchestras and new musical languages.

This manual is the result of a practical and up-to-date reflection on the real needs of the profession, developed through experience in both the classroom and on the stage.
