Uffa, il Museo Giovanni Fattori!
Texts by Emilia Baratta
AAC Adapted translation by Laura Gagliano
Supervision of the symbols by Antonio Bianchi
Within the beautiful park of Villa Mimbelli stands the Museo Giovanni Fattori, a small museum that holds great masterpieces. This simple and entertaining guide written in AAC (Augmentative Alternative Communication) language will also accompany audiences with different abilities to discover its halls, the history of the people who inhabited them, but above all it will introduce us to the rich artistic and cultural heritage contained in this museum, with its collection of paintings and sculptures from the 19th and early 20th centuries among which stand out the works of Giovanni Fattori and other Macchiaioli painters whose works, illustrated through CAA language are finally accessible to all.
An inbook involves the simultaneous presence of alternative tool and standard oral verbal language, which accompanies the symbol visually and orally, through the support of the communicative partner who pronounces it aloud.
