ORIZZONTI del MO.C.A.
Riflessioni tra moderno e contemporaneo
edited by Roberto Giovannelli
Great contemporary art at Mo.C.A. in Montecatini Terme
The long-awaited second issue for modern and contemporary art lovers of the "Quaderno" of MO.C.A, the new exhibition space dedicated to contemporary art present in Montecatini Terme since 2012, is long-awaited by modern and contemporary art lovers.
The book edited by artist Roberto Giovannelli aims to explore the themes of art in its broadest sense, between modern and contemporary, giving the floor to leading experts in the field.
Among the various essays in this issue the readers will find a special tribute to the artist Vangi by Emanuele Gaudenzi, a painting by Cabianca rediscovered by the noted scholar Francesca Dini, and a reminiscence of the golden age of the Caffè Giubbe Rosse, a meeting place for literary and artistic people in 19th/20th century Florence from the words of Francesco Gurrieri.
The columns "Scraps and Rosolio" and "Laudano" close the review of works that become part of the Museum's collection.
