74a mostra Gruppo Labronico

The Labronico Group's 74th serial exhibition, which will take place in the beautiful surroundings of Livorno's Aquarium, intends to pay homage to Maestro Pietro Mascagni, a musician appreciated all over the world, and is part of the Mascagni Festival programme.

As a historical addition to the catalogue, works by Natali, Landozzi and Filippelli are published, aimed at showing how the Group's painters and sculptors have always been linked to the musician.

Contemporary members have personally paid tribute with different techniques and styles, drawing inspiration from his compositions, from the sea of the city of Livorno, also an element of suggestion for local artists, and more generally from music, a universal language capable of moving us and touching the most intimate chords of our being.

The immortal notes of the musician, composer and conductor from Livorno, who gave so much lustre to opera between the 19th and 20th centuries, have inspired multiple forms of artistic expression, and the authors of the exhibition have also been moved and led by the sweet and powerful harmonies of our Mascagni.
