About the Author

Lucia Toso born and raised in Venice, Italy, has dedicated herself to cultural promotion. She has collaborated with Venice Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment, and has served as President of Amici del Circuito Cinema, which she co-founded in 1986. She is a certified guide in Venice State Museums and private collections, and she has taught at the Peggy Guggenheim collection for over 15 years. 

Art Historian, she published two novels: The Colour of the Morning, Mondadori, 1995) and Just Like in Films, Sonzogno, 2000), and two monographs: Stephen Frears and Tiziano, the glory of the perfect colour, Sillabe 2002.
