This is the story of Butehamon, a little Egyptian boy struggling with his dream: he wants to become a scribe!

The book is a fable based on the experience of an expert archaeologist, Valentina Santini, who illustrates the life of this important figure in antiquity in an unconventional but educational way.

Writing was not for everyone and the young protagonist of the book leads the readers on his path to becoming the scribe of the pharaoh.

The book ends with a curious section where you can try your hand at hieroglyphs and discover many other curiosities of the ancient world among which is a hieroglyphs mini-course.

The book is beautifully illustrated by Saimon Toncelli.
