In the Spring of 1460 two young brothers, Lorenzo and Giuliano de'Medici, are taming a wild hawk. When something suddenly goes wrong they meet Tanio, a young stone cutter working on the rising Duomo, and keeper of a secret bearer medallion.
The two brothers are eager to solve the mistery, and offer to help Tonio in his search for the truth. They embark on a series of adventures and love. With the help of a young Mina Donati, loved by Lorenzo the four friends will solve the mistery and keep the stone cutter from going to jail.
The book features illustrations by Silvia Bertoni.
