The fifth addition to our book series BOBOLI, Art and Nature investigates the Voltoni in Boboli Gardens.
It is rather odd, especially given their undeniable structural charm, that the Voltoni have not raised interest of the of the crowds who visited them over the course of the centuries. Many have indeed described the Boboli Gardens as a beautiful, formally perfect environment for its visual constructions of space.
The Voltone is indeed an extremely interesting architectural element, grand for its geometric shape majesty.
