THE PRECIOUS ANTIPHONARY KNOWN AS CODE 602, KEPT IN THE FELINIAN CHAPTER LIBRARY OF LUCCA, IS THE TITLE OF THE PRESTIGIOUS RIVISTA CODICE 602

The collaboration with the Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali “L. Boccherini ”of Lucca for the creation of the prestigious magazine with a particularly varied edition in terms of contents and their provenance, thanks to the contribution of scholars and musicologists from all over Italy, who are told about the many and different facets of history and musical aesthetics.

The topics range from the liturgical musical activity at the basilica of Sant'Apollinare in Rome during the seventeenth century by Giacomo Carissimi, to Rossini's admiration for the masters of the first Vienna school to the digitization of a corpus of Bellini's letters. Then an essay by Danilo Prefumo from Paganini today, and a very topical article by Luca Giovanni Logi which title documents how and with what post-covid-19 security measures it is necessary to resume concert and opera activities.

In the section dedicated to music studies in Lucca, the reader will find the analysis of the musical work Elena e Gerardo, written in 1822, exactly 200 years ago, by the then twenty-year-old Marianna Bottini, and finally the delightful piece taken from the degree thesis of Sofia Cesaretti Un amore di Proust. Musica, tempo e memoria nella Recherche.
