On the occasion of the bicentenary of the death of Napoleon Bonaparte, the Stibbert Museum has decided to enhance the relics kept in its collections.
Known above all for the famous collection of European and Oriental weapons and armour, the Museum created by Frederick Stibbert preserves a nucleus of works related to the Napoleonic epic, among which we find the most spectacular and evocative piece, famous for its importance and exceptionality, the Petit Costume d 'Italie worn by Napoleon for his coronation as King of Italy in 1805 in Milan.
